San Diego-based ambassador Sydney and her friends swapped West Coast sunshine for the rolling hills of Tuscany, Italy, on a dreamy, picture-perfect getaway in one of the country's most stunning regions.
The group stayed at a charming villa nestled in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by cypress trees, vineyards, and golden light. Mornings were slow and indulgent, starting with coffee, fresh pastries, and seasonal fruit on the terrace, before slipping into their favorite PQ Swim pieces to lounge by the pool. Days were relaxed and unhurried, with plenty of time to soak up the sun, savor the scenery, and simply enjoy life at villa pace.
Beyond the villa, the group went truffle hunting in the Tuscan woods, following specially trained dogs as they sniffed out rare underground fungi. They turned their finds into fresh truffle pasta - hands down some of the best they’d ever tasted and an experience they won’t forget anytime soon. The afternoons were spent exploring local vineyards, sipping wine, and soaking up the countryside.
Evenings were reserved for golden sunsets over the hills, glasses of Chianti in hand, laughter filling the air as stories were shared under the warm Tuscan light.
