Definitely go with your cup size on this and not the actual bust measurement. I am a 32 DD according to the sizing chart, a medium should have fit, it did not. I went with a large and it’s a better fit I think the D/ DD would have been too large. I’m thinking if there were no padding at all it might fit even better.
